One more class has been added to the Outlaw 250 scheduled to be run June 27th and 28th in Easley, S.C. This also means more bucks have been added to the total purse.

I spoke with Donnie Burnett this week (owner of The Carolina RC Complex) and we have added the 21.5 Sportsman class to the race. This is a popular local class and promises to bring even more attendance to this two day event.

This also means that the total “bounty” has been raised from $1000 to $1250. The sponsorship for the Sportsman class has been guaranteed but there is still a question as to which of two companies will actually be on the flyer.

Speaking of sponsorship, the sponsor for the .12/.15 nitro class has been secured and D.C. Solar Supply will pay the “reward” for that class. This is an “outside the hobby” business that is owned by Darrell Clevenger and we appreciate him stepping up and helping us put on this race.

Put a pan car on a dirt track? Ridiculous! Put a GAS powered Pan Car on dirt; as soon as I stop laughing, I’ll tell you how stupid that idea sounds! The suspension will not work enough. I’m not going to tear my car up like that.  It’s too dirty for open bearings! ……….
